1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Licenstra ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Licenstra provides automated document analysis tools including risk scanning (Sentinel), contract analysis (Negotiator), and text refinement (Syntax). These tools use artificial intelligence to analyze documents and provide risk assessments and recommendations.

3. Not Legal Advice

LICENSTRA DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE. The Service is a technology tool only. All analyses, reports, and recommendations are generated by automated systems and should not be relied upon as legal advice. You must consult with a licensed attorney for legal matters.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of documents you upload
- Decisions made based on our analyses
- Compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
- Seeking qualified legal counsel when needed

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LICENSTRA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

6. Subscription and Billing

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel at any time, but no refunds are provided for partial months. Emergency Review Packs are one-time purchases and are non-refundable.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures. Uploaded documents are automatically deleted after processing, and proof of deletion is logged. However, no system is 100% secure.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

- Account information (email, password hash)
- Usage data (API calls, timestamps)
- Documents you upload (deleted after processing)
- Payment information (processed by Stripe)

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Data Retention

Uploaded documents are deleted immediately after processing. Account data is retained until you delete your account. Deletion logs are retained for compliance purposes.

- Withdraw consent

5. International Transfers
